Assisting Andrue Smith - Contact Info and New Video!

I have been very fortunate to have received the name and phone number of a person who is happy to answer questions regarding assistance for Andrue and the boys. I will be posting her number below. Also, I have learned that there is a new video on the KOVA television website. It shows Andrue and the boys at home. That’s a wonderful thing to see!

This is the link to the new video of the boys at home!
Once there, click on the video link that is listed right under the title.

Recently, KGUN 9, another local TV station, sposored a benefit of sorts for Andrue and the boys, at a local “Chewy’s” restaurant. Apparently, it was very successful, as about 500 people attended. This is exactly the kind of support he will need for a very long time. Thank you KGUN!

How to donate to the “Debra L Smith Family Memorial”

Some people have emailed me saying they can’t donate to the fund for the Smith family triplets at their local Wells Fargo bank because the staff has not heard of the memorial fund. I called Wells Fargo for clarification. I was told that there is a specific fund name that must be requested.

andrue-and-boys-2.jpg

When you walk into your local Wells Fargo branch you must state specifically that you are looking for the “Debra L Smith Family Memorial”. Do not have them enter a period after her middle initial or use quotation marks. Do not put the word “fund” on the query or the computer will not find it in the search. It should simply be “Debra L Smith Family Memorial”.Also, all checks are supposed to written to “Debra L Smith Family Memorial” as well.

If that does not work for some reason there is also the Wells Fargo in Tucson. Their phone number is: (520) 792-5247. But the “Debra L Smith Family Memorial” search query should work for any teller.

Thank you

Update on Andrue Smith’s Boys

This is an excerpt from a message passed to me by a friend of Andrue Smith. Please enjoy reading an update on how the children are doing. :-)

“…all are home with Andrue, and breathing on their own. As of Sunday, Jaisyn, wieghed in at just over 7 pounds, Tristian, at 6 pounds, 9 ounces, and Legend, just over 6 pounds.”

That’s wonderful news. These babies have gone home and are gaining weight.

Thank you for so faithfully following this story.

PS These are my previously published photos of the babies. I offer them for your viewing enjoyment. A special thank you to the person who supplied them. I am leaving in my original comments as well.

Andrue has a lot of years ahead without his wife to help. Even with a spouse, people with multiples often rely on others. Keeping his story out there can make a difference down the road. See the top right side of my blog for information on how to donate to Wells Fargo Bank. There is a special fund to help Andrue and the children. Here is a link to a page on this blog that will fully tell Andrue’s story.

Comet Dust Reveals Clues About Our Solar System’s Past

Four years ago, NASA’s Stardust spacecraft did something remarkable. It chased down a comet and collected grains of dust blowing off its nucleus. Samples of the comet dust were shipped to scientists all over the world to analyze its makeup. The studies of cometary dust are part of a larger effort to trace the history of our solar system.
