See full sized images by following these links. The first painting was finished by Monet in 1866 and the second in 1886. You observe a marked change in color and technique over twenty years. The last painting was done around 1892 - 1894. The difference in execution was even more alarming about eight years later. This was after cataracts had really affected his vision.
